The human body was not built for sedentary lifestyles. You only have to look around or indeed look at yourself to see what it has done to the human form “OBESITY.”

Modern day for most does not offer physical work, sitting at the office, then in the car, or on the train/bus, at home watching television, eating the wrong foods, and the list goes on. So what can be done about it?

It really doesn’t matter what your age, exercise should be part of your daily life, at least 30 to 60 minutes. Exercise can be done into your 80’s, the only criteria is to use common sense, for the exercise you may have done when you were younger may not be applicable now.

For the very reason mentioned in the previous paragraph, the body simply isn’t been utilised as it should.

The pelvic bones and hip joints are designed to rotate through a wide range of motion (physical work) therefore the body (brain) get the message that they are not being used. Due to this decision the body realises there is no need to maintain as much density, this also applies to the ribs, wrist and spine. It is critical to maintain proper nutrition and exercise throughout your lifespan.

It isn’t all doom and gloom, for the bone is constantly being built up and broken down by the body all the time regardless of age. Good news, from today you can increase your bone tissue that your body requires, through nutrition and the correct type of exercise.

Find out what your body mass is, by calculating your weight and height that corresponds to one’s body fat.

Over time as we age we lose bone mass and muscle mass, in most cases they are linked. The longer we live both of these will become a factor that could limit your vitality.

An action plan is required to deliberately take the correct steps to head in another direction. Throughout your life you must concentrate on health, strength and fitness of the entire body, this will be the only way to allay the aging process.

Take an interest in your body. Check the pH level to see if your body has an alkaline/acid balance, nurture it. Cherish it. Remember you must have a healthy mind in a health body.
